It's 11.11.11 at 11:am and it's time to pause and give thanks to those who have sacrificed so much for this country. It's about saluting our very special men and women of our armed forces who put their lives plans and dreams on-hold to protect and defend ours.
Those of you who follow this blog know that I have tremendous respect and gratitude for the extensive sacrifices made by our troops--and their families. Today put politics aside and reflect and honor the these men and women, who have selflessly served ---and are still serving-- this country, with their family; spouses, partners, children, parents, brothers and sisters, alongside them.
Please remember to take time today (and everyday) to include these families in your prayers. Most of us can't imagine living lives filled with heaviness, daily worries and unimaginable fears while living apart from our loved ones --or with out wounded warriors. It's impossible to --unless you've lived in their boots.
No matter what your political stance, today is about being grateful and proud. Please take a moment to pause, search your heart for the gratitude and support these families so very much deserve. Let these brave military families know that you care and that you understand --freedom is never free. And here are some additional ways you can show it -and let them know it
