A jury awarded Allen Jones over 1.5 million dollars for violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  Representatives from Advance Call Center Technologies not only continued to harass Jones to pay the non-existent debt, a debt of less than $200 that Jones previously paid, but they repeatedly left horribly offensive and vulgar voice mails filled with profanity and disgusting racial slurs on his cell phone;

"This is your mother******* wake-up call you little lazy a** b****," a collector said on one. "Get your mother******* n****r ass up and go pick some mother******* cotton fields."

Allen Jones stood up to this deplorable and illegal behavior that violated his rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Jones and his attorneys won. The Dallas County jury awarded Jones $50,000 in mental anguish and $1.5 million in punitive damages.

"We made a statement and the statement is we will not tolerate abusive debt collectors," Jones said of the win.

Bravo for Allen Jones!
