Emails with pictures of Osama Bin-Laden hanged are circulating the web
again. But if you fall for this email and open the attachment -your
computer will crash and you will not be able to fix it!
This e-mail first appeared a couple of years ago but it seems to have re-surfaced.
Email subject may say: PLEASE INFORM EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you get an email along the lines of "Osama Bin Laden Captured"
or "Osama Hanged" don't open the attachment.
"I've been robbed" scam;
The email claims your friends have been robbed and have had their passports stolen. They desperately need money wired to them as they are stranded in another country. In reality, your friend's computer has been hacked and the thief has access to their email address book. By sending out emails to all people in their address book, they hope someone will fall for it and wire money. DO NOT ever Wire money period. At least not unless you know the person and have personally spoken with them, If you receive an email like this -contact your friend via phone to warn them of the email.
